Research on Sustainable Development of China’s Logistics Industry

Abstract
Although China’s logistics industry has gained some achievements since 1970, because of some reasons, the development level of China’s logistics industry is far behind most developed countries and there are still many problems in the development of China’s logistics industry, such as, higher energy consumption and logistics cost, lack of talent, and they don’t grasp the opportunities supplied by some emerging industries. However, the development of logistics industry in Zhejiang Province is better than the other places and provides some experiences for sustainable developments of China’s logistics industry. On the other hand there are some new motivating factors that will push the China’s logistics industry forward. In this paper we describe the current situation of China’s logistics industry and analyze new factors that promote sustainable developments of logistics industry and come up with some proposals that depend on the experiences of sustainable developments in Zhejiang Province.
