Basis of Moral Value in the Mechanism of Public Participation in Environmental Protection——a Reflection from Perspective of Sociology of Morals

A survey revealed that in the current environmental protection in China,poor public participation is mainly because public consciousness of environmental protection does not reach the desired level.On the other hand,there is no mechanism guaranteeing the right,access and way for the public to participate.But the real justifying reason for the two aspects above resulte from the poor level of environmental morality,so the key to solving this problem in perspective of social values is to enhance the moral level of the public participation in the environmental protection,and set the moral values to safeguard citizens' right to the environment.
