An Empirical Analysis of the Industrial Structure and the Employment Problem——A Case Study Based on Shaanxi Province

Petty-Clark theory holds with the development of economy the labor has the tendency to transfer from the first industry to the second industry and then from the second industry to the tertiary industry.The empirical study shows that the situation in Shaanxi Province conforms with the theory of Petty-Clark on the whole.In order to make the structure of industries and the structure of employment develop harmoniously,the key is to adjust and perfect the structure of the three industries,promote the development of industry while transforming the traditional agriculture,and trigger the rising of the tertiary industry.
