Abstract

This paper reviews the research progress of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) treatment for cardiac syndrome X from two aspects such as pathogenesis and treatment.The research results suggest that Qi stagnation,phlegm retention and blood stasis are the primary TCM syndrome patterns for this disease,and Qi-regulating,chest-relaxing and blood-activating therapy is the main therapeutic methods.
