Recent Research Progress in Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a group of clinical syndrome of unknown etiology,high-heterogeneity clinical symptoms,and main features with anovulation and hyperandrogenism.Due to its complex pathogenesis,there is no effective treatment so far,making it a research hotspot in gynecologic endocrinologye.In recent years,the treatment of PCOS has made some progress with the intervention of the study of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).Here is to make a review on the TCM treatment from the aspects of the syndrome differentiation,the cycles of Chinese medicine,the ancient Chinese medicine prescription,the integrative medicine with western medicine,and the medicine combined with acupuncture treatment.
