Abstract
Objective To assess the outcome of trabeculotomy-trabeculectomy for congenital glaucoma. Methods The 16 cases(28eyes) of congenital glaucoma were treated with combined trabeculotomy-trabeculectomy.24 eyes of these patients were followed up from 8 months to 2 years. Results After operation, symptoms disappeared in all patients.Compared with preoperation,C/D ratio and the corneal diameter of patients was no longer extended. The intraocular pressure was controlled at level of(14.80±3.30) and(16.68±3.71)mmHg(P0.01) in the patients of 2 years old or yonger 2 and older than 2 years old. Conclusion The combined procedure may have a high success rate and have certain value in clinical application.
