Clinical Observation of Lupus Nephropathy Treated with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine on lupus nephropathy(LN).Methods:49 patients of LN were divided into treated group(31 cases) and control group(18 cases).Treated group were treated with Cytoxan(CTX),Prednisone,Potenlin and Chinese medicinal herbs.Resuts:The improvements of clinical symptoms and laboratory results,clinical remission rate of treated group were significantly higher than those of control group;while the adverse reaction rate of treated group was significantly lower than that of control group(P0.05,P0.01).Conclusion:Integratead traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment is obviously superior to treatment with western medicine in increasing therapuetic effect and clinical remission rate,relieving adverse reaction and decreasing recurrence rate.
