Effect of Interferonα-2b Combined with Lamivudine in Positive HBeAg Chronic Hepatitis B Children

Objective To study the effect of lamivudine and combined treatment of children with HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B.Methods 97 children with HBsAg,HBeAg,HBV-DNA positive chronic hepatitis B were divided into 3 groups:lamivudine treatment group(n=35);Interferon-α2b treatment group(n=28),lamivudine and Interferon-α2b combined treatment group(n=34).All patients had been treated for 48 weeks. Blood routine,liver function,HBV serology,HBV-DNA and side-effects were detected. Results Higher percentage of HBeAg/HBeAb conversation and HBV-DNA clearance in lamivudine and Interferon-α2b combined treatment group was achieved than the other groups after 48 weeks’ treatment. After 48 weeks’treatment,the percentage of HBeAg/ HBeAb conversation in combined treatment group was higher than the others. The percentage of HBV-DNA clearance higher than Interferon-α2b group, but is not different from the lamivudine group. Conclusion Superior to Interferon-α2b or lamivudine alone,Interferon-α2b combined with lamivudine is more effective for e-system conversation of HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B children.
