Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of trimetazidine(TMZ) on cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). Methods Sixty patients with CHF were randomly divided into control group and TMZ group. The observing period was 6 months. The echocardiography was performed before and after evaluation of cardiac function. Results The result showed that the LVEF was significantly increased in TMZ group(P0.001). Conclusion TMZ can improve the cardiac function in patients with CHF on the basis of routine therapy.
