Therapeutic effects of trimetazidine in patients with coronary heart disease and congestive heart failure

Abstract

Objective:To explore the clinical therapeutic effects of trimetazidine(TMZ) in patients with coronary artery disease(ACD) and congestive heart failure(CHF).Methods:A total of 152 CAD patients with CHF were randomly divided into two groups:control group(treated with routine treatment) and TMZ group(TMZ+routine treatment).Patients were observed for 3 months.Results:After treatment for 3 months,the clinic total effective rate and cardiac function(LVEF) significantly increased(P0.05) in TMZ group compared with control group.Conclusion:Based on the routine therapy of heart failure,application of TMZ can prominently improve the cardiac function without adverse effects in CAD patient with CHF.
