Simvastatin treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease clinical value

Objective:Observe Simvastatin in the treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease treatment effect.Methods: 100 cases of ischemic cerebro vascular disease randomly divided into two groups.Simvastatin group with Simvastatin 20mg plus the Aspirin 75mg,control group with Aspirin 75mg.Results:Follow-up 12 months,Simvastatin group again an array TIA,cerebral infraction,major the rate for 5.56%,2.20%,10.24%,they are significantly below control group 19.36%,14.28%,39.63%(P0.05),Mortality rate is no marked difference bebween the two groups.Conclusion: Simvastatin group have been significantly reduced the relapse rate,mortality has also declined,bad reaction slight,no circumslances should be taken to avoid.
