Abstract

Through analysis of the films of 8 elite male university long jumpers last two approach and take off technique,we find that the Chinese long jumpers velocity of approach comes to drop in the third stride counted backward and drop sharply in the last two strides. The angle of knee is bigger in the course of buffer. The course of buffer is longer, the speed of take off is slower and the take off is inefficient. The Chinese elite long jumpers vertical velocity obtained by take off is low and the angle of jumping is small are the main factors affecting the performances of the long jump.
