Abstract
While hydroxyapatite has been widely used in the field of bone tissue engineering,the fields of application is limited by its' properties such as high brittleness,low mechanical strength and ease to disperse.Recently,emphasis of the research works focus on preparation of composite with hydroxyapatite and polymer,especially biodegradable polymer.Now,collagen,chitosan and aliphatic polyester always are always used to complex with hydroxyapatite to enchance it's property.This article summarizes preparation of hydroxyapatite and research progress of composite of hydroxyapatite and aliphatic polyester in biomedical field,development prospects of the composite is also overviewed.
