Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of edaravone on the treatment of acute cerebral hemorrhage.Methods 58 cases were divided into treatment group and control group randomly.Neurological functional deficit scores were uti lized for assessment before given treatment. On the 28th day after treatment, the patient was assessed again and the efficacy was recorded.Results After 28 days treatment, the neurological functional deficit scores of treated group were 9.6±6.3, whereas those of the control group were 14.4±7.6. There was significant difference between the two groups (P0.05). There were also significant differences between the two groups in terms of apparent effect rate(treated group:48.3%; control group:20.1%; P0.05) and improvement rate(treated group:86.2%; control group: 62.1%; P0.05). Conclusion Edaravone can accelerate the recovery of neural function after cerebral he- morrhage.
