Clinical study of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of allergic rhinitis

Objective: To investigate the application effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of allergic rhinitis. Methods: Selected 68 patients with allergic rhinitis in our hospital during February 2009 - May 2011. All the patients were divided into the Western medicine group and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine group. The patients in western medicine group were treated with conventional western medicine. The patients in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine group were treated with Chinese medicine for adjuvant. It based on the Western medicine group. Compared and analyzed the clinical efficacy of the patients in two groups. Results: Integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine group compared with Western medicine group, its cure rate and total effective rate were significantly improved, inefficiencies rates were significantly reduced, there were significant differences(P0.05). Conclusion: It has important significance to improve clinical effects for integrative medicine treatment of allergic rhinitis.
