Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of integrated traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine on the treatment of appendixmass.Method: A total of 68 patients suffering from appendixmass were treated,35 were treated by traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine(the treatment group),33 patients were treated only by western medicine(the control group).Result: The results showed that the average stay and the time return body temperature to normal and the pain relax time and the time of bowel function return to normal of this integrated therapy was shorter than that the patients were treated with western medicine only.Conclusion: The integrated traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine therapy is an appropriate mean in treating appendixmass.
