A Clinical Control Study of Baoshen Decoction on Treatment of General Anxiety Disorder

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and the side effects of Baosheng Decoction in the treatment of general anxiety disorder.Method:Patients were randomly assigned to Baoshen Decoction group and paroxetine group for 6 weeks.Results:The therapeutic efficacy in Baoshen Decoction group was similar to that in paroxetine.Compared with paroxetine,Baoshen Decoction had fewer side effects and Addiction.Conclusion:Baoshen Decoction is effective in the treatment of general anxiety disorder and produces fewer side effects.
