Abstract
The theory of interlanguage has been put forward for more than thirty years, which has great significance for language study and language teaching. The thesis discusses the main characteristics of interlanguage and points out that interlanguage has close relationship with foreign language study. Therefore, interlanguage plays an important role in second language acquisition.
