Abstract

Meng Zi Zheng Yi by Jiao Xun is one of the thirteen Confucian classics in the Qing Dynasty.Meng Zi Zheng Yi completely presents the academic character of the Qing Dynasty,and summarizes Jiao Xun's academic thoughts.Meng Zi Zheng Yi by Jiao Xun is not only in person of the academic character in the Qing Dynasty,but also covers the meaning of the idealistic history.We find that Jiao Xun gives The Book of Mencius new meanings,establishes his argumentations,and overcomes the shortcomings of the Confucian School of idealist philosophy in the Song and the Ming Dynasties and the Han School of classical philology in the Qing Dynasty.In a word,as a learned scholar,Jiao Xun is the clear-headed thinker.
