Abstract
In order to meet the requirement of more structure's application,the hot extrusion was adopted to carry on the forming to the AZ31 magnesium alloy,the effects of extrusion ratios and test temperatures on the microstructure and mechanical properties of AZ31 alloy were studied.The results show that the microstructure of the AZ31alloy is effectively refined after hot extrusion.The grains become finer and the tensile strength of the extruded AZ31 alloy gets obviously enhanced with increasing extrusion ratio.The extrusion temperature also affects the AZ31 magnesium alloy organization and performance.In this experiment,the AZ31 magnesium alloy extruded at 350℃ can gain homogeneous microstructure and good mechanics properties.
