Abstract

Construction of high-speed rail requests accurate and convenient pile test method. To analyze the differences between the self-balanced method and the anchor pile method in applications, this paper researched the application of the self-balanced method in bridges of Harbin-Dalian railway,in compared with the anchor pile method.By comparing the Load sharing proportion,Force distribution pattern and shaft resistance-displacement curve, both tests accurately reflects the bearing capacity and deformation characteristics of the pile when the shaft resistance is the main capacity, especially in homogeneous soil. The self-balanced method in the verification of pile bearing capacity can be an alternative to the traditional methods, and its accuracy can meet the engineering requirements.
