HBV Infection Among 5-Grade Freshmen in Multi-national Area College

Objective To understand HBV infection among freshmen and provide the preventive basis for Hepatitis B.Method The survey of HBsAg tests with ELISA was done to 9 485 freshmen in multi-national area college.The carriers of HBsAg were given the tests of the four items of hepatitis B and liver function examination.Results HBsAg positive rate of 10.84%,with two main infection types,one is HBsAg,HBeAg,HbcAb,another is HBsAg,HBeAb,HBcAb.The detection dominated 83.18% of all the HBV infection types.Conclusion The detection rate of HBV infection in this college is higher,with no sign of going down,than the national average level,Hence high importance should be attached to it and the students who have not infected by HBV should take a vaccine for hepatitis B soon after entering the university.
