Abstract
The thermal decomposition behavior of RDX/AP/HTPB propellant was studied by pressure differential scanning calorimetry(PDSC).The results show that the thermal decomposition behavior of RDX/AP/HTPB propellant is affected by the change of the propellant component, which mainly represents on the point where the decomposition peak width of RDX contained in RDX/AP/HTPB propellant becomes wider and the thermal decomposition of AP is enhanced. The decomposition of RDX is inhibited while the thermal decomposition of AP is strengthened after Al powder is added into the propellant.
