Abstract

EPC management plays an essential role to accomplish an engineering project.In this paper the practice of EPC general contract management for Lanzhou-Yinchuan Gas Transmission Pipeline Project are discussed with respects to the project management characteristics,project implementation effect,introducing risk management idea by EPC general contractor,enhancing management and control to subcontractors,strengthening project cost management and control,giving full play to EPC management advantages,and so on.
