Abstract
This study reveals the general tendency of cognitive style of non-English majored college students and the difference of different academic background students.Also the research finds out the correlation between cognitive style and learning achievement.It will be of great help to English teachers in their teaching to know well their students' different cognitive style and also will offer a scientific base to develop individual language teaching and improve learner's automatic learning ability.
