Therapeutic effect of ademetionine in treatment of patients with cholestatic hepatitis induced by drugs 84 cases

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of ademetionine in treatment of patients with cholestatic hepatitis induced by drugs.Methods Totally 46 patients with cholestatic hepatitis induced by drugs were randomly divided into two groups:the control group(42 patients)received combined therapy(without any anti-choloplania drugs) for 4 weeks,and the therapy group(42 patients) received combined therapy plus ademetionine 1.0 g into 5% glucose solution 100 ml intravenous injection everyday for 4 weeks.Results The recovery of symptoms and signs was not significantly different between the two groups(P0.05).The effective rates of itch of skin and white-stool were 73.8%(31/42)and 90.4%(38/42))respectively in the therapy group,while 40.4%(17/42)and 47.8%(20/42))respectively in the control group.The recovery of liver function in the therapy group was superior to which in the control group(P0.05).There were significantly differences between the two groups(P0.01).Conclusions Ademetionine can promote liver metabolism,repair the injury of hepatic cell,relieve itch of skin and improve liver function obviously.It is a effective and safe drug in the therapy of patients with cholestatic hepatitis induced by drugs.
