Abstract

Objective:The study aimed to investigate the main job stressors of the nurses,so as to provide scientific basis for alleviating nurses' stress and improve their physical and mental health,and the quality of care.Methods:A questionnaire was used to collect data and totally 285 nurses were recruited to participate the study.Results:The result showed that the main job stressors of nurse included workload,job schedule,specialization and nursing work.The working environment and resource,care for patients,administration and interpersonal relationship were the second-class job stressors of nurses.Conclusion:The job stressors of the nurses included the work they did,retaining age,working place and the department.The nursing administrators should pay more attention to nurses` mental health,alleviate the stress,and do some training program to alleviate their stress,in order to maintain their mental health.
