Abstract
The direct beginning-casting process of billet caster in No.3 Steelworks of Han Steel was developed and put into practice. Compared with normal beginning-casting technique the preparing time can be shorten by 10 to 15 minutes, raw material consumption per pass reduced and good economic profit got.
