Inspiration of the humanistic value of Olympic spirit for humanistic capacities education for contemporary college students

From the perspective of humanistic value,the author probed into the contributions of Olympic spirit to the human society,including boosting world peace,realizing self exceeding in competition,and pursuing the unification of truth,kindness and beauty.The humanistic spirit of Olympics is the collective embodiment of such aspects as people orientated modern society,national and patriotic spirit,idealistic spirit,and awareness of fair competition.The humanistic value of Olympics has important inspiration for humanistic capacities education for college students;Olympic spirit has established college students' conceptions of patriotism,dedication and collectivism,spirit of active participation and aggressive enterprising,awareness of social morality,and spirit of fairness,inspired contemporary college students to have healthy personality,substantiated humanistic capacities education for college students,and boosted the development of human civilization and society.
