Creative Treason" in Literary Translation and Reader Reception

The paper is to present the creative treason in literary translation and the reader′s reception to it. Both ReaderResponse Criticism and Reception Theory will be used to analyze the translation texts. The whole process of literary translation is as follows: the translator′s creative treason ought to depend on the understanding and interpretation of the original text. And it needs to get the reader′s response. Therefore, the acceptance of creative treason should follow certain criteria, such as, objective and rational understanding of knowledge, validity of interpretation, and original textoriented approach.
