Abstract

Objective:Use an HPLC method to determine the contents of paeonol in the compound paeonol cream. Method:Hypersil C_(18) column (150 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) was used;The mobile phase consisted of methanol-water (50:50),at a flow rate of 1.0 mL·min~(-1);The detection wavelength was 274 nm.Results:Paeonol has a good lin- ear relation in the range of 0.05-0.54μg(r=0.9998),the average recovery (n=6)was 98.7 % (RSD=2.0%). Conclusion:The method is accurate and reproducible.
