Abstract

The residue of dimethoate in 5 vegetables(Chinese cabbage, lettuce,Pteris, kidney beans, cabbage) from Ya'an was extracted with ethanol and detected by enzyme inhibition and colorimetry which used acetylcholinesterase from Pieris rapae larvae. The results indicated that the content of dimethoate in lettuce was the highest one, which exceeded the Chinese government standard of 1 mg / kg and reached 4.209 3 mg / kg.But the residue in Pteris as the minimum one was only 0.043 8 mg / kg.Some practical meanings were obtained for rapid detecting pesticide residues in this paper.
