Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationships between test anxiety and the coping style and to offer theoretical evidence to prevent test anxiety.Methods Questionnaire of Test Anxiety and Questionnaire of Coping Style were administered to 424 college students.The relationships between the coping style and the test anxiety were analyzed.Results There was 4.96% college students having obvious test anxiety.Test anxiety was different in different grades and different specialties.But there was no difference in different gender.Different genders,grades and specialties had different coping styles.Test anxiety had negative correlation with the solving problem factor of coping style.Test anxiety had close correlation with factors of self-accusation,fantasy,avoidance and rationalization.Self-accusation had the linear regression relationships with the test anxiety.The test anxiety of the college student was closely correlated to coping style.The students who had test anxiety often adopted passive coping style,and who didn't have test anxiety usually adopted positive coping style.Conclusion The students' self-confidence should be cultivated so as to alleviate test-anxiety.
