On the Poems of Zhou Mi and the "Late Tang" Faction

Abstract

Zhou Mi is a famous literator in the last period of Song Dynasty.While there are only a few researches on his poems and the comment on his poems is low.Besides,a general opinion has been formed that the poems of Zhou Mi belong to Late Tang faction.In this article,the author has analyzed the poems of Zhou Mi from five aspects:the points about poems,formats of poems,contents and artistic conceptions of poems,characteristics of art and sources of poems carefully.A novel opinion has been drawn that Zhou Mi′ poems do not belong to the Late Tang faction.
