Empirical Research on Technology Progress and Economic Growth of Anhui Province

From 1999 to 2013 in Anhui province based on statistical data,by using factor analysis method on the related indexes of technological progress is quantified,derived the technological progress index.Based on the relationship between technological progress and economic growth in Anhui province through quantitative analysis,the following conclusion are given: firstly,the technological progress and economic growth there is a long-term stable equilibrium relationship,each increase of 1% technological progress,economic growth increased by about 0.6%; secondly,technological progress and economic growth are the causal relationship between granger.Thirdly,when the impact of technological progress comes into being,it can bring more long-term,positive influence to economic growth.Meanwhile,research revealed that the contribution was more stronger for the impact of economic growth to technological progress.Finally,for the relationship between technology progress and economic growth,some suggestions are put forward from the enterprise,government,society around the angle of enterprise technology innovation to promote technological progress,to realize the sustained and stable growth of economy of Anhui province.
