Effects of comprehensive nursing on lower extremity deep venous thrombosis in post-operative for old patients

Abstract
Objective To study the comprehensive nursing on lower extremity deep venous Thrombosis in post-operative for old patients.Methods All of 204 cases treated in our hospital from 2007 April to 2010 June were randomly divided into observation group and control group,102 cases in each group.The control group underwent the routine nursing and the observation group underwent the comprehensive nursing.The incidences of thrombosis in veins of lower extremities were compared between the two groups.Results The incidence of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis in observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group.Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention can obviously decrease the incidence of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis in post-operative for old patients.
