Color-leafed Plant Species and Their Application in Fuzhou

Color-leafed plants played a significant role in urban landscapes and enriched city color.In this study,the species and application of color-leafed plants in Fuzhou were investigated.The results showed that 70 species or varieties of color-leafed plantss were applied in Fuzhou gardens,which of them shrub and perennial herbage was major species that possessed a proportion of 40.0% and 42.9%,respectively.The main plant species belonged to Agavaceae,Moraceae,Commelinaceae and Marantaceae.Finally,according to the results,the species and application of the color-leafed plants in Fuzhou were analyzed and summarized,some corresponding problems and suggestions were put forward in this paper.
