Color-leafed plants in Shimen National Forest Park of Guangzhou

Based on the investigation,there are 63 species in 48 genera and 33 families of color-leafed plants in Shimen National Forest Park.There are 28 species and 32 species of color-leafed plants in spring and autumn,respectively.And there are only 3 species of constant-leafed plants.Woody plants have 49 species accounting for 77.78% in total.Herbage plants are 8 species,and vine plants are 6 species.The species,habitat,ornamental character and abundance of the color-leafed plants,etc.are introduced in this paper.Some suggestions about exploitation and application of the color-leafed plants in landscape are given according to their characteristics.
