Resource Evaluation and Landscape Application of Wild Woody Color-leafed Plants in Henan Province

Based on the investigation on the resources of woody colorleafed plants in Henan province,it was found that woody color-leafed plants in Henan province belonged 85 species,54 genera,32 families which were analyzed and evaluated in detail.The distinctive color-leafed plants were screened out,among which there were 4 species of evergreen leaf,4 colored species of spring-scenery leaf and new leaf,6 species of double-color leaf and 5 species of polychromatic leaf.There were 43 species,25 families,20 families of wild woody color-leafed plants in Henan province with Sapium sebiferum(Linn.) Roxb., Pistacia chinensis Bunge,Acernegundo L.,Liquidamba forsana Thunb.and so on as representatives which had higher ornamental values and better market application prospect.Finally,some suggestions on the protection,exploitation and utilization of color-leafed plants resources in wild forest of Henan province were put forward.
