Abstract
Objective To study the clinical efficacy of montelukast associated with budesonide on severe asthma patients. Methods According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,30 severe asthma patients were involved in the present trial, and received six weeks′treatment. The clinical efficacy of the combined therapy was observed. Results There was significant amelioration concerning the peak expiratory flow(PEF),the puff number of the salbutamol, and the score of the asthma symptom of the day and night after six weeks′treatment(P0.01).Conclusion Montelukast associated with budesonide can be used to treat severe asthma effectively.
