Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical value of combined detection of alpha fetoprotein(AFP),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),CA125 and CA19-9 in the diagnosis of malignant tumors in digestive system. Methods Electrochemiluminescence immunoassay was applied to detecting the serum levels of AFP,CEA,CA125 and CA19-9 in 53 patients with malignant tumors in digestive system and 62 patients with benign diseases in digestive system. The results were compared and analyzed. Results The sensitivity of combined tumor markers detection was 88.68%(47/53),much higher than that of a single marker measurement(AFP:62.26%;CEA:58.50%;CA125:47.17%;CA19-9:52.83%).Conclusion Combined detection of tumor markers(AFP,CEA,CA125 and CA19-9)markedly improves the diagnositic efficiency of malignant tumors in digestive system.
