The value of multislice spiral CT urography in the diagnosis of urinary tract diseases

Objective: The diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT urography (MSCTU) on the urinary system diseases. Methods: Fifty two cases with urinary disease were undergone multi-slice spiral CT scan, enhance, delayed scanning ,using the three dimensional reconstruction technology to carry on the reconstruction to the primary data. Results: MSCTU receive different levels and different angles of the three-dimensional image, can be a good show the location of the urinary system diseases (including space-occupying lesions, infection diseases and congenital malformation of urinary system, urolithiasis), morphology, anatomy, nature, and the adjacent blood supply situation. Conclusion: The short scan time and the image quality of MSCTU have a higher value for diagnosis and clinical treatment of the urinary tract disease.
