Clinical Research on Metformin in Adjuvant Treatment of Hypertension with Obesity

Objective To observe the influence of blood pressure and lipid treated by metformin for patients with hypertension and obesity.Methods The control group 70 cases,benzene sulfonic acid amlodipine pieces.Metformin group of 75 cases,benzene sulfonic acid amlodipine piece + metformin.Results Systolic and diastolic blood pressurs in the two groups were significantly lower;compared with the control group,blood pressure in metformin group dropped more significantly with statistically significant difference;step-down success rate in metformin group was higher,with statistical significance compared with the control group.TC,LDL,TG in metformin group lowered more significantly,HDL increased,with statistically significant difference compared with the control group.Conclusion Metformin has the role of synergistically lowering blood pressure and improving blood lipids for patients with hypertension and obesity.
