Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of back-shu point in treating insomnia. Methods Eighty-eight cases with insomnia were randomized two groups,44 cases in each group;the control group was treated by routine acupuncture treatment, and treatment group was treated by back-shu point mainly, with the course of 4 weeks. Results The clinical efficacy and SPIEGEL efficacy in treatment group were better than that of the controls(P 0.05);after treatment, the scores of SPIEGEL scale in the two groups were decreased markedly(P 0.05),without significant difference between the two groups(P 0.05).Conclusion Back-shu point has certain effect on insomnia.
