Abstract
Objective:To study the expression and significance of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 in colorectal carcinoma. Methods:SP immunohistochemical technique was used to examine the expression of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 in 42 cases of colorectal carcinoma and 25 cases of normal colorectal mucosa. Results:The expressions of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 were significantly different in different pathological grading(P0.05) and were no significantly different in stages of Dukes and lymphnode metastasis(P0.05).Conclusion:The expressions of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 may be closely correlated to the occurrence and development of colorectal carcinoma.Detecting the expression of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 in colorectal carcinoma is useful for the early diagnosis of colorectal carcinoma and evaluation of the prognosis.
