Jiuye School of Poetry in modern China is a poetic school that absolutely followed Western modernism.Because the traditional Chinese culture represented by Confucianism has exerted much influence on Chinese intellectuals,the Chinese modern poets in their pursuit of modernizing Chinese new poems have to explore the relationship between the artistic creation of new poems and the actual life and national fate,that is,the relation between the poet's concern for the reality and his aesthetic pursuit.While trying to rebel against the tradition,Jiuye School of Poetry consciously or unconsciously inherited the tradition.Thus,the poets belonging to this school became the most rebellious and the most devoted to Chinese poetic tradition.
