Abstract

The Great Beauty of the whole cosmos consists in simplicity,which is regarded as the concentrated expression of Wang Bi's naturalism inclination.The naturalism of Wang Bi's metaphysics inherits and develops the thought ofbeauty exists in nature,which is put forward by Lao Zi and Zhuang zi.This new naturalism is based on the proposition ofnoumenon based on nothingness,and it affects Wei-Jin aesthetics widely from three aspects:the beauty of personality,the beauty of nature,the beauty of arts.
