Abstract
Objective:To establish a HPLC method for determination of benzoic acid and sorbic acid in meat products.Methods:Column: Inertsil ODS-3 C18(150 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm);Mobile phase: CH3OH-0.02 mol/L NH4Ac(3:97);Flow rate:0.8 ml/min;Detecting wavelength: 230 nm.The samples were extracted by 0.3% hydrochloric acid in ethanol and the standard curve was used to detect the content.Results:Benzoic acid and sorbic acid showed good linearity(r0.9999) in the range of 0.0001 mg/ml~0.1 mg/ml.The detection limit was 0.1 mg/kg,the recovery rate was between 94.0%~99.3%,the RSD was less than 2%.Conclusion:This method is simple,rapid and accurate,and can be applied to the determination of a large number of samples.
