Abstract
Rural land circulation is the core of the reformation of farmland system. In China there are some problems blocking the land reform, such as the lack of land transfer, non-standardization and non-representation of transferer′s benefits. Rural economic development level, subject factors of households, the consciousness of land rights as well as the land policy′s protection are on the way of transfer land smoothly. This paper reviews theoretical and practical researches by Chinese scholars in 21 century, and studies transfer forms, characteristics, problems, restricting factors and measures. At the end of this paper, further studies are recommended: to research on the behavior of peasant households, to build rural land transfer market and intermediary market, and to perfect transfer system and the supporting reforms on the view of urban and rural coordination.
