Effects of psychological intervention on treatment of cerebral infarction in young adults

Abstract

Aim To study the effect of psychological intervention in treatment of cerebral infarction in young adults.Method 64 cerebral infarction in young adults were randomly divided into study group and the control group.All the patients were evaluated with Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)、Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS) and Barthel Index.Results The improvement in study group was greater than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion The psychological intervention is effective not only to improve anxious and depressive symptoms but also increase the quality of living in young stroke patients.
